Environmental Permits

GREIF DELTA’s UK operations are based on a 3.5 acre Treatment Plant - Waste Facility site in Gorton, East Manchester.

Environmental Permit EPR/AB3731AD/T001 (WML/0765), held by Greif Delta Containers (Manchester) Ltd allows the acceptance and treatment of a wide variety of packaging types contaminated with hazardous waste on to the site.

Greif Delta Containers (Manchester) Ltd also hold an "Upper Tier Waste Carrier Dealer" Waste Carrier Licence, allowing the company to collect and transport both hazardous & non-hazardous waste on its own vehicles.

The Greif Delta Group employ several qualified members of staff holding COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) for the Hazardous Transfer and Treatment of Waste, all fully maintained via the Continuing Competence Certificate Scheme authorised by WAMITAB.

Finally additional support and advice can be offered to customers from our full time employed DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser) helping you choose the correct packaging for your dangerous goods.
